We have a layover from 10:30 pm to 10:30 am at CDG. Is it feasible to get into Paris and is there anything to see/do at that hour? Does CDG stay open all night and is there anywhere half-way comfortable to hang out there? Would we be better off finding a hotel room near CDG? Thanks
I'm afraid it would be midnight or later by the time you disembark, go through passport control and pick up your baggage,so rather fruitless to go into the city. There are hotels right at CDG, Ibis, for one, so why not try to get some sleep.
Sounds like you need a hotel - CDG is one of the worst ranked airports on sleepinginairports.com: http://sleepinginairports.com/europe/paris.htm
I suggest that you stay at the Ibis Paris CDG Airport Hotel. It's located next to Terminal 3 and a stop on the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train that connects all the terminals.
