Overnight Layover at Boston Logan

We have an overnight layover at Boston Logan on our way to London. Does anyone have recommendations for a hotel that's a good combination of convenient, quiet and comfortable?

Try to get a water view room at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. One side of hotel is a full view of the harbor and Boston’s skyline. We have stayed there for many years. Decent restaurant too. If you want to go into Boston there are water taxis. Hotel has a shuttle to Logan terminals.

When? Is this for an early morning flight? Boston is very, very expensive even by Logan. What is your budget? See for yourself by going to Expedia and plugging in the date and using the filter so you see only hotels by the airport.

We stay at the Hyatt Boston Harbor, which is at the airport. My only beef is they charge $25 per night - a resort fee - for rooms with a view. That said, the view is of the city skyline and the harbor so probably worth three times that!

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Logan last Tuesday. It was a five minute drive by free hotel shuttle from the airport. It's big and can get crowded. My room had A/C problems but they finally moved me to a room where it was working.

It was quiet and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that can get crowded. Rather than wait for a table, I did takeaway and ate in my room. Most of the rooms are two room suites with a refrigerator, microwave and sink. There is a coffee machine as well.

The shuttle to the airport is on demand. They tell you to be downstairs about 15 minutes before you need to leave. I only had to wait five minutes. It operates 24 hours/day.

Free breakfast.

Another vote for the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. Pay the extra to get a harbor view it is jaw-dropping. There is a shuttle also to take you to and from the airport.

I always stay at the Hilton. I never had good experiences with Hyatt and Hyatt is typically more expensive.

When Hyatt Boston Harbor was full we stayed at the Hilton at Logan that was OK but missed the big, expansive view and better restaurant of the Hyatt.
