We are just in the process of planning of Italian vacation. There are flights from home to Paris CDG and we are thinking of flying from Paris Orly airport to Pisa with Easyjet. Are there shuttles between the airports and how far apart are the airports. Can anyone recommend a reasonable hotel near Orly or CDG? Thanks

While I can't recommend any hotels near these airports Orly and CDG are about an hour (depending on traffic). A taxi from Orly to CDG cost us about 50 euros. Apparently there is a shuttle bus that costs about 20 euro (I think) but takes around 90 minutes. At least that is what we were told. By the way, if you are using EasyJet make sure you have PLENTY of time to get to the airport. We had a 10:45 flight and took a shuttle bus to Orly and got to the check in 2 late which is why we had to go to CDG for a later flight.

Jennifer - There are Air France shuttle buses (you don't need to be flying Air France) between the airports every 30 minutes. The fare is currently 16 Euro. The trip takes about an hour, depending on traffic.
If you want a hotel near either airport you probably won't be seeking charm. I'd suggest going online for the Accor hotel chain which has a variety of hotels at different price ranges near both airports.
