So would supereconomy be super discounted? I’d take that, as long as it didn’t mean a bench seat with a rope for a seatbelt.

The main cabin/coach seats will be even closer together to make room for the suites.

Travel will be for the rich or short, agile-flexible types.

This is what the Delta One suites are in business class. We were lucky to book those at the last minute at a lower price as we hightailed it back to the States on Delta's last flight Paris to DTW in March 2020, but subsequently they have been a couple of thousand more than non-suite business flat seats. Very nice for those who can benefit.

we already got a sense of what basic economy would be like, in the before times. it's a race to the bottom of fares as well as service (partly so they pop up first in internet searches), then nickel and diming you back up to where you want to be.
