My understanding is that an "Open Skies" agreement, opening new air routes to Europe will go into effect on March 30, 2008. I am planning a trip to Amsterdam, Belgium and Paris at the end of July. Does anyone think/know that airfares will be lower after the agreement goes into effect, or should I book now for the cheapest fares? Thank you!
Book as soon as you see a cheap fare...don't wait. Only a few airlines have announced a few new routes. Just because they can doesn't mean they will, especially with the price of fuel, etc, these days. Airlines will probably spend until next year determining what routes may be economically feasible for them, and when.
