What are the best sites to use for getting cheap open jaw tickets? I've seen a lot of sites that search out low cost round trip or one ways, but very few that do open jaw.

One more site to check is expedia.com.
After checking all the sites and finding which airline (or combination of airlines) will work best for you, go to the individual airline's site and do a fare comparison. It should be cheaper to book on the airline's own site than on a travel site.
Hi Darrell - I have used a wholesaler/consolidator - http://www.airfareplanet.com/ for many years - Get your best price and then give my friend George - The manager a call and I would be amazed if he didn't beat your best price!!

I have found few airline sites that don't accommodate 'open jaw'. The best deals I've found have been at the airline's own sites, however I often use sites like Kayak.com to gauge when the airfares are most reasonable. I've tried travel agents to see if they could beat what I had, but with some time and knowledge, I've yet to find one that can get me a better deal on airfare. This includes trips to London/Paris, throughout Italy, and Portugal/Spain. I honestly can't remember the last time I used an agent to handle my booking. The key is to use a multi-city option for booking different into and out of cities.
I check kayak.com or sidestep.com (I think they are essentially the same thing now).
