We land at CDG next Tuesday (10/26) and pick up a leased car that comes with very little fuel (diesel) and would like to know of any reliable and current websites that list stations that are open, considering the general strike going on. We are not staying in Paris and have a room booked about 3 hours south. We're trying to avoid getting mixed up in any protests although we agree with the protesters. Retired people spend money while giving up jobs for the next generations. Makes sense to me. I don't relish the thought of spending our vacation at the airport.
stephanie,
The strike situation seems to change on a daily basis, so it's doubtful that anyone (including websites or those living in Paris) will be able to predict the fuel situation next Tuesday.
In the same situation, I'd just go and hope for the best. I doubt that you'll have to spend your vacation at the airport. You may have to alter your travel plans, and I'm sure at least some of the trains will be operating.
Good luck!
