I can't get my computer to print the Austrian rail test tickets (pdf)online, but I can save the pdf to clipboard and then it prints perfectly as a Word document--the barcode prints as well--of course, I don't know that it would actually scan OK. But since reservation number, names, etc. on on it---will be be OK doing this? There is a GREAT online rate--and the tickets by email at oebb.at are all in german. thanks, Elaine
I agree with Steve--I wonder if this may be an issue of paper size? Sometimes when I try to print something created in Europe the printer seems to want to use A4?? paper, and so won't print.
It could be a paper size issue. The PDF is probably set up using A4 paper as standard, which is the standard paper size used in Europe (and much of the world outside the US). Switch the paper size to e.g. "Letter". Even though the terms and conditions for the online ticket say it should be printed on A4-paper, I can't imagine, it would give you problems if you print the ticket on Letter paper. US "Letter" paper is not very much different in size from A4 paper.
