Hello, we are taking a 12 day cruise from Dover to the Baltic Sea and have booked tours in Berlin and St. Petersburg, my question is about "on your own" travel from the cruise ports of Copenhagen, Helsinki, Tallinn and Amsterdam. Is it possible to walk to local transportation or any other tips you know of. I thank you in advance as well as for past replies! Jim
There is a tram stop directly in front of the cruise ship terminal in Amsterdam. http://goo.gl/maps/cBpx1
Your best bet for current information and ideas is www.cruisecritic.com. They have sections devoted to cruise ports and how to get around there.
