Maybe I didn't understand some comments about departure taxes going up in London, but I was wondering if when we buy our airline tickets, whether the departure tax is already built into the return ticket back to the US from London? Or do we need to pay an additional tax when leaving?
Also, we are now planning to fly to our destinations rather than try the EUROSTAR (cost seems to be less flying), and the first part we will have to leave London for Rome (departure tax already added on ticket?), then depart Rome for Paris. Does each airport have an additional charge (besides the ticket cost?).
Sorry for a confusing post but we are trying to figure things out and get a few less surprises.
