I have hopefully been able to download a ‘gifted article’ link:
Drinking alcohol can increase your heart rate, he added, and it has been shown to reduce blood oxygen levels during sleep.
I'm good to go, Lyndash, because I can never sleep on a plane. :-)
Seriously, that sounds like good advice. 85% oxygen would set off the alarm on my grandson's oxygen monitor. Definitely something to think about, especially if you have any health issues.
I jokingly (or not so jokingly actually) agree, Mardee. I never sleep anyway and oh jeez, can’t we have anything fun that isn’t bad for us!!??
We are flying to Fairbanks in 4 weeks and my husband, ever the engineer nerd, is taking our oximeter with us to run calculations. Two 4 hour flights getting there and the same back will be our sample size. Will report back, wink.
Ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, that is funny! Yes, please keep me apprised of the results!
