We usually take public transport to both airports. We have an 8 AM flight to CDG however & need to be at JFK three hours early. We will be coming from the east side of Manhattan near the 59th St Bridge.
Is Uber or Lyft reliable for a 4:15am pickup? If not, which car service do you recommend at that hour? Thanks.

Thanks for this info. Have you used them on your return flight to JFK? If so, do they monitor when the flight will arrive? On their website, they state that if you are more than 15 minutes late, the clock starts ticking for charges. I'm assuming that's for pickup to JFK and not from JFK.
