We are traveling from Nuremburg to Lake Como in late May. What is the best route via train? We thought about flying, but don't seem to know who flies from Nuremburg to Milan (closest airport). Any advice? Thanks in advance!

You can take an ICE train from Nuremberg to Frankfurt and a direct night train from there to Como S. Giovanni. If you book each leg separately and well in advance (up to 90 days allowed) at www.bahn.de, you can get Dauer-Spezial fares for Nuremberg-Frankfurt and Spar-Night fares for Frankfurt-Como.
