NRN Dusseldorf Weeze

I'm looking to get a flight from Dusseldorf, Germany to Rome and Raynair has incredibly inexpensive flights out of NRN Dusseldorf Weeze. Has anyone flown out of there? Do trains go to the airport? We'll be traveling from Bacharach to get to the airport.
Thanks for your help!

There are no trains to Weeze airport, only some buses. According to the RyanAir website, the trip from Duesseldorf take 1h15min. According to the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr, and the Bahn, the trip takes 1hr 20-28 min, by train and then by bus. An adult one-way ticket is €15,10. From Bacharach, the trip will take 3h46min. The train fare to Kevelaer Bhf is €43; the bus from there to the airport is €2,40. Before you buy a ticket, make sure you know you can get to the airport in time.

Do be sure that when you take the incredibly inexpensive flight, add the buses at both ends, the credit card charge, the baggage charge, the check in charge, the taxes, the charges for drinks and food, the charge to use a seat and the charge to use the toilet, as well as the other random charges, all into account you still have an incredibly inexpensive flight. Maybe so, maybe not. Just be sure to check. I know that their response to a baggage handlers' strike the other day at Stansted in London was to say no checked baggage would be accepted AT ALL, it would be one item of carryon for all passengers ONLY.

From Bacharach to Rome also check out Ryanair from (Frankfurt)-Hahn. It's much, much closer than Weeze and there is a Ryanair bus from Koblenz to Hahn airport. And probaby even more convenient check out germanwings.com from Cologne to Rome Fumicino (FCO) airport. You can easily access Cologne airport by train from the Rhine river valley...
