Interested in a trip up one or more fjords. I think I prefer boat to train or driving. Any comments? Suggestions on boat trips and how to contact?

David.....the Norway in a Nutshell has a great train and boat ride combination with Voss and Bergen has destinations...... I read about this in RSteves.........I also had great luck with a company called Five Stars of Scandinavia out of Gig Harbor Washington.......and found them on the internet!

There are lots of great tours - check the Norway tourist board website (as well as ricks book). The link mentioned above byu the other poster is also a good start. The Sognfjord is great - stay in Ballestrand for a nite too! South of Bergan there are some great fjord trips too combined with glaciers etc. ANother famous spot if north of Sognfjord - check the various packages out of Bergen. They can take all day and a while to get to so leave plenty of time!
