Just discovered this possibility. Good fare and non stop, but comfort? I'm hoping someone has traveled Air Berlin and can compare the two. I used Air Berlin last summer after I checked the seating with Guru. My reference said he ws over 6 ft and found it comfortable. I am petite and not more than 5 feet 3. I was miserable. Was it just because a HUGE man sat in front and reclined his seat into my face? Please send me your experiences so I do not buy this ticket just because it is non-stop and leaves from my home town!
Thanks a bunch.
Norwegian is flying brand new Boeing 787's, and the price is right. Checkout the prices of American Airlines or British Airways out of Miami International Airport.
You're fortunate that Ft. Lauderdale has a budget airline flying into your market. I wouldn't hesitate to fly Norwegian.
I'm not aware of any airline with coach seats that are comfortable for a trans-Atlantic flight or for sleeping on same. Give up that dream.
Thanks everyone, especially George. I had not thought about the delay that equipment problems could bring. Surely would mess up the conference schedule that I hope to attend!
Also, I appreciate the realism of Laura. I fly accross the Pacific more frequently and somehow always manage to get some rest. But maybe those lines have reduced the size and distance apart of the seating now too. Guess I'll just have to travel less frequently and save up for Business class!
