Does anyone know which airlines fly nonstop to Europe from Denver in Summer and to which cities they go? Is there a website that tells you this?
Luftahansa does have a non-stop flight to FRA. They used to have one to Munich, but I don't think they have one any more (at least I couldn't find one last year when I went to Munich). Same with the BA flight to London; I think that has been discontinued.
Along with the FRA flight Lee mentions, BA flies to LHR. I couldn't find any others.
Here's the link to the list of airlines servicing DEN http://www.flydenver.com/airlines
Besides the LH flight to FRA and the BA flight to LHR, UA normally has a non-stop to LHR during the summer. The BA flight is definitely still operating as I saw it two days ago.
I read recently on flyertalk that UA was not going to be flying DEN - LHR..
You can fly United to FRA but it is really just a codeshare on the aforementioned Lufthansa flight (costs a little more too).
I go to England when I can and always take either United or British Airways. So I am assuming they go non stop to other Euro countries as well...
In this morning's (Thursday) Denver Post it was announced that United was suspending its direct flight to London. Not enough revenue. Two days ago Boeing had its new Dreamliner plane (787?) in Denver for testing on the longest runway in North American. Maybe that plane can bring direct flights back to Denver.
Connecting through London to Germany gets you there in the late afternoon vs morning to the non-stop Lufthansa flight. Kind of blows the first day.
