Has anyone used the Nightjet sleepers in Europe?
I'd be interested to know how difficult it is to get in and out of the upper bunk.
I've traveled on the Nightjet several times. Getting into the upper bunk is like getting into a child's bunk bed. I didn't find it difficult, but you do need to be agile. I hope agile is the right word for it :-)
Thanks - we are both in our 70s and I'm not sure agile describes us well!
I looked at some pictures and it appears that there is a proper ladder. So, can you climb a ladder and lift a leg into the bunk? I rode another "brand" in January, no ladders, and I can tell you for a certainity that this 60-something old guy could not have gotten in the top bunk without looking ridiculous. Get a bottom.
