NightJet Mini Cabin (OBB) - any firsthand experience?

I saw two videos and maybe this was purposeful YouTube visual hyperbole, but both travelers made it look super small and difficult to negotiate. This would be for a night train from Amsterdam to Vienna. I think I'm priced out of solo sleeper cabin, and I don't expect luxury for this second class option, but it looks hard to maneuver around in - to settle and lie down.

1) Grateful for any thoughts, insights, experiences with this newer second class sleeper option, Mini Cabin
2) Issue of lower cabin preference - OBB lets you enter preference, but states clearly you might not get it. Any experiences with this?

Pre-Covid I used it from Graz to Rome. Boarded at about 11 p.m. and there were already 2 other guys who where returning to Florence: there appears to be a "protocol" for the bunks-the earlier your stop, the lower your bunk to prevent people from crawling over one another-I got the top as I was the last stop. no problems, a knock on the door around 7, and a really nice continental breakfast tray.
