"...ÕBB's decision to relaunch and expand night train train routes...." Absolutely fantastic. I had always thought the CNL operated by Deutsche Bahn was overpriced. Night service as an option is always around, but whether that meets one's level of comfort and luxury is another story.

It's interesting to hear that night trains are making a revival. They probably won't be popular with everyone, but given the increasing emphasis on "environmentally responsible" travel options, they might be profitable. Hopefully the rail companies can develop routes that don't have train changes in the middle of the night!
