Night Train Venice to Munich, still running?

Try it again. Mi just got all the way to the credit card entry page for a ticket for 2 people in an Economy Double for 208 euros on Monday, Marchn11, Venice to Munich.

We took the night train form Munich to Venice three weeks ago. They have changed the route, as it now runs from Munich to Salzburg, then down to Venice. We booked ours through DB. Don't know why they would't be running now. There is an email address on the contact us that we have used - email them and ask what is up. They can help you. It was a great way to cover ground if you are short on time. You don't get on until around 11 pm and then travel all night and we arrived in Venice at 8:30 am. Not sure of the times going the opposite direction.OK just when to the site and see what you mean. Email them and they will tell you what's up. THis happened to us in December when we tried to book it and had to wait a couple of weeks because they were working out the usage of rails with the Italian rail service. Email the customer service folks they will tell you straight up what the problem is.

I just tried again and again had not problem at all finding the March 11 night train on bahn.de. City Night Line departs Venice at 20:57 and I could book an economy double at the special price of 208 euro (the doubles are sold out at that price but available for lots more money). Maybe try a different computer if you are still having trouble? I am on a Mac, FWIW.

Yep we ran in to the same thing in Nov. but they worked it out: Keep trying. The train was nice, but remember, you are basically sleeping only on it. By the time you wake in the morning you are in Venice. If you are looking for "the fun factor" we hear it's a beautiful day trip (a whole different route) from Venice to Munich. Information for the schedule 2013 to and from Italy Dear City Night Line Customers, the consultations with Trenitalia have currently only achieved a temporary solution. Our trains from/to Italy will be available for bookings starting from Monday 24 December 2012, 9 am for journeys until 30 January 2013.
Information for bookings with travel date from February 2013 onwards will be communicated at a later stage. We shall keep you informed on this site and apologize for this inconvenience.

Jayme, bahn.de has changed it's page. If you change it to english at the top, by clicking on the German flag at the top, and hitting USA. Put in date of travel, destination. It goes to the TravelService page. It has "Route", then "Date and Time", then "Connections". If you wish to get the list of night trains, in the "Connections" section, click on the line to the right of the small red arrow that say's "Advanced Selec-tion of Means of Transport". A group of checked boxes will appear. You will now see a pull down box that say's "Admit Changes". Pull down on that menu and you will see Sleepers, Couchettes, and Direct Connections. Click on the one you want. Now you can pull up the Night Trains. If your computer accepts cookies, it will pull up next time without all of these moves. They don't make it easy, I tell yah.
