Night train from Rome to Interlaken

I have found a couple of different night trains from Rome to Interlaken for July 21st. There are two trains leaving at 8:40 pm and arrive in Interlaken at 8:03 and 8:35 am.
I was wondering if I should make a reservation for one of these two trains now? Or can I wait and make a reservation when I get to Barcelona next week. Does anyone have an idea on the cost of this reservation and the extra costs for a night train? (I have a Eurail global pass)

I would suggest reserving, but I doubt that you can do it in Barcelona (different country, different railway), so perhaps you should gamble on getting a reservation when you get to Roma. A couchette will cost about USD20-30 and a full sleeping compartment around USD200 or more. This train won't be direct, however, so check where you have to change.
