Night Train from Madrid to Lisbon

How far in advance can I make a reservation for a night train from Madrid to Lisbon with a Global Rail pass? I just tried, and it doesn't appear that any sites are allowing me to reserve anything online at this time.

You typically cannot make a reservation using a railpass except through RailEurope or in person with a RENFE agent. If that's not the issue, then give us some more details about when you are trying to reserve for.
