I would like to take a night train from Amsterdam to Cinque Terre on June 27th. Is it possible to do this and how long will it take? Also, is there a good website to book this on?
There is no direct night train. You would have to take a Thalys train from Amsterdam to Paris, a night train from Paris to Milan, and either an IC train or a regional train from Milan to the Cinque Terre town of your choice. You would leave Amsterdam at 15:16 and arrive in the CT after 09:00, an 18-hour ride. Instead, fly either Transavia or Tuifly (both are budget airlines) from Amsterdam to Pisa and take trains from there to the CT. It will be a lot cheaper than taking the train all the way.
