Nice Tram

I just read on Rick's Tour Book update page that the Nice tram goes to the airport. Is this correct? The tram web page is in French and I can see the route but nothing about the airport - that I can figure out. Also, is the fare 1 euro or 1.30 euro? Same fare question for the bus. Last, please, any suggestions for getting to Beaulieu from the airport at 8:45 in the evening. Thanks so much.

The map on the official tram site and on this English language site are identical. They clearly show that the tramway does NOT go to the airport. The official site lists a fare of €1 while the English language site above lists a fare of €1.30. Your guess is as good as mine as to which one is current.

Bus #23 runs from the airport to Nice and stops at the Nice St-Augustin train station as well as the Nice Ville train station. Service is every 22 minutes during off-peak hours and the last bus leaves the airport at 21:35. The fare is €1. Or you can walk from the airport to St-Augustin in about 15 minutes. Trains from St-Augustin to Beaulieu-sur-Mer depart at 21:02, 21:57, and 22:56. They also stop at Nice Ville. The fare from St-Augustin to Beaulieu-sur-Mer is €2.60.

Thank you so much for that information. It is so helpful. I had heard about the Augustin train station but not about bus #23. That is great to know. Do you have the web site for the train and the bus schedules? I will be there in early September and am wondering if the schedule for the bus and the train will be the same and if those trains for sure stop in Beaulieu in September. Also, the fare information will help me be prepared to buy the ticket, especailly if I have to use the ticket machine. Thanks again for your help.

The bus schedule is on the Nice airport site. There is an English version.

The train timetables and fares (in French) are on the SNCF site. The timetables are also on the German Rail site. Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner for English.

The train times will be the same in September as they are now.
