Nice to Corniglia, IT

Train. With minor exceptions, no tourist cars are permitted in the CT. The train journey from the Nice Ville train station will take 6.0-7.0hrs with 2-4 train changes depending on the run. Also, Corniglia is up on a high bluff. So once off of the train, you will most likely need to take the mini-bus up to the town unless you want to walk up the 20 or so switchback sets of stairs (about 400 stairs). We had a very nice lunch at Locando on the square. There's a really nice small restaurant down a side street that I can't recall where we couldn't get in without a reservation. They were booked. It did look good.
