can anyone help me on this topic?
i'm unable to find a way to connect those two cities, without taking a train that has as much as 3 to 5 transfers and goes for as long as 18 to 20 hours !

Unfortunately, 10 hours and several changes is about the best you are going to get via train. If you can fit it into your schedule, Spanair flies that route Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays for about 66 Euro.

You asked about Nice-Barcelona rather than Barcelona-Nice. Here is the best schedule: Leave Nice Ville at 09:55, connect in Montpellier, and arrive at Barcelona Franca at 19:59.
