I am leaning towards renting a car...
It seems a car would be faster 2.5hr / TGV 4
Car at 116 euro is more expensive / TGV 70 for 2
But we can use the car to see Sault and other places after the Nice-Arles trip.
Main question...is it really a time saver because I saw a warning on actual time used... and is it going to be much more expensive than just renting the car: toll fees and gas.

This information has been very helpful. Thanks. Rick says that a lot of the gas stations may be closes on Sat. Which is the day that we need to travel. I am hoping that one tank of gas will last us all day on a mini car. My guess is that the rental agency fills up the tank before you leave and you have to return it filled as well. Can someone please confirm it that is the way they do it over there?
