We are two mature ladies going to Villefranche in May. Our flight arrives at 10:00 pm at Nice. What would be the best way to get to our hotel Le Provençal. We will have 2 suitcases and I'm not sure taking a bus will be the best option? I'm told taxis are fairly expensive! Any suggestions? Thanks

That late at night, I would take a taxi. From what I can find on various websites, it may cost 50 to 60 eur0, but it will take you directly to your hotel and manage your bags. With the bus, you have to transfer once, and it looks like the second bus (from Nice itself to Villefranche) may not run that late. The train does, but it may not end up anywhere near your hotel, in which case you would have to walk some distance, or find a taxi.
