NY Gov Andrew Cuomo wants all flights from the UK to New York to require a negative covid test from passengers before allowing them to board. He said BA, Delta and Virgin Atlantic have agreed.
Seems like a reasonable request to me. As Cuomo points out, there are at least 120 countries that currently require a negative covid test to enter. He also points out that such measures imposed by state or city are not very effective, and he's asking why the USA isn't on that list of countries that require a negative test. That seems like a fair question too.

Of course, there are plenty of people who will cheat, lie, and break the rules - because they don't like rules and think they don't apply to them. So, if the rules are implemented, they should come with some consequences.
