New Rick Steves Monday Night Travel April 24th—Transportation tips

The next addition of Monday Night Travel, April 24th, will be all about transportation tips. From the description:

How early should I get plane tickets to Istanbul? Am I better off
buying a rail pass or point-to-point tickets? Can I pick up my rental
car in France and drop it off in Italy? In this MNT show, we've
assembled a travel planning dream team to tackle tough questions about
transportation in Europe. Agents from Elizabeth Holmes Travel offer
insider tips on timing plane tickets, rail expert Rich Earl updates us
on the state of European rail passes, and seasoned tour guide Lisa
Friend compares car rentals on either side of the Atlantic. So bring
your trickiest transit questions, bust out your notepads, and buckle
up for a fun and informative ride!

This sounds like a great episode for those traveling to Europe for the first time or those unfamiliar with all the recent changes over the last few years.

Or if you can’t watch live, they always post a link to the recording on you tube and the Rick steves website a few days later. If I remember, I’ll post both links here when available.

Maybe it’s just me, but after the first five minutes of the best travel agent ever, and you should only book with us, I was a little turned off. I guess if you don’t travel much or buy many plane tickets there was good information in there. But for someone like me that travels all the time, and does unprotected connections and understands the risk is not going to just take their no no no advice, It was not really very helpful. I didn’t get to the train or car information
