New non-stop routes start Summer 2018--JFK to Amsterdam, both JFK and LAX to Madrid, and LAX to Milan. Details here.
This is good news indeed! Love seeing discount competition at JFK. Thank you!!
Works for the coasts but not flyover country.
They are going Denver to London and Paris.
Is their Premium Class like Premium Economy rather than Business Class with lie flat beds/ seats?

It's like Premium Economy--recliners, no lie-flats. Here's a link from Norwegian's website that shows what it is like.

It’s time to move closer to the Oceans.
Don’t worry about sea levels rising. Global warming is a hoax anyhow. It’s snowing like crazy on the Alps.
I am comforted knowing that an easy drive to/from either Denver or LA will provide a very competitive airfare to Europe.
The problem with the ultra discounters like Norwegian and WOW is that
they mostly serve the 10% of the US that Europeans visit.
NYC, Disneyworld, Las Vegas, southern CA, San Francisco, Phoenix (for access to Grand Canyon), Boston, and Denver are popular International tourist regions with JFK, MCO, LAS, LAX, SFO, PHX, BOS and DEN airports respectively being served by international discount airlines.
If these parts of the US mentioned above are only 10% of where Europeans visit, where is the other 90%? You've got me curious.
Where did you find the statistical info about where in the US Europeans visit? I'd love to see the link, thanks.
That explains why Norwegian Air and Condor have both started service to Seattle. We see quite a few foreign visitors here ( Europeans but also Australian and Asian) in the summer due to Alaska cruises.
What I meant was that Europeans only visit 10% if the US. So those
places you mention have travel demand both directions.
If the list I wrote of massive tourist areas whose airports have European discount airlines is just 10% of where European travelers visit, I'd still like to know exactly what constitutes the other 90%.
My statistical info is me. I travel a lot for work and so rarely see
Europeans when I do it’s shocking.
I travel weekly for my work across the US including Kansas City, Omaha, Atlanta, Ft Worth/Dallas, Pittsburgh, Cinci, Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis and San Antonio. I too rarely see European tourists. Many of my clients aren't in tourist hotspots! :-)
Some great choices offered by Norwegian Air now departing from Oakland, especially to London Gatwick and Paris.
True about San Antonio and the absence of European tourists. I never saw any there, even my last time there in Oct 2016.
