The ÖBB will operate a NightJet from Berlin to Vienna from December 9th. Unlike
the former "Metropol", the new train runs via Wroclaw and carries a through coach to Przemysl
(connecting to a train into Ukraine). Further information including map and timetable here

Fantastic! You go through Poland, ie Silesia, on this "new" night train to Vienna instead of the Czech Republic. The dep and arr times are just about the same. Also much easier to connect to eastern Poland at Wroclaw than from Czechia, ie makes going to Przemysl much easier.
