Air France had just commenced CDG / YVR direct flights, and the inaugural flight touched down today. These will initiallly be offered three times per week, but will increase to five times per week during the summer. Here's a report on the new service.....

The incoming flight was full and it's interesting to note that two of the passengers on the return flight to Paris were two young ladies from the University of Washington. They're college students on a budget, so the price worked well for them. As seen in the report, the price quoted at the moment is $1028 return (not sure if that includes taxes and fees?), which is a great price and certainly less than I've paid over the last few years.
