DB German Rail introduced a new bonus card. It's free, works like a frequent travelers card (you collect points and can evenutally redeem them and you can earn a "bonus" status that ensures you get a seat even when the train is packed) - and it also acts as form of ID for online self-printed tickets (so you don't have to use your credit card as ID, if that makes you feel safer).
