Starting next May, Air Berlin will offer nonstop flights between New York (JFK) and Berlin (Tegel) four times a week. In 2012, the airline will officially join the Oneworld Alliance? Hmm...discount carrier flying between NY and Berlin. Perhaps price wars with Delta and Continental who already fly that route? Air Berlin also increases its JFK-Dusseldorf service from five flights per week to daily service.
