Nervous about booking wizz air flight

My server says the airline website is untrusted.

I booked with Wizz Air online using my credit card back in 2005 and had no problems. I usually hate using my credit card online, but they had a deal too good to pass up and things worked out well. But yes, that was 5 years ago and I don't blame you for being concerned; you don't want to have to worry about your credit cards while traveling.

As for your server saying the site shouldn't be trusted, I have McAfee Site Advisor and I just checked the Wizz Air site and it gave it a green checkmark. Maybe your site advisor just doesn't have enough data on Wizz Air and is giving a general warning? Or does it give a specific warning?

I booked Wizz Air tickets online in 2008, using my cc without any problems. Just a couple of suggestions:

1. Buying the Extra Legroom Seat is worth it - dirt cheap and you avoid the mad scramble for unassigned seats.

2. Make sure that you know exactly where your departure/destination airport is -- and buy Wizz's airport transfer service if you're not leaving/landing exactly where you need to be. i.e. Katowice - Krakow.

3. Repeat of #2 - know where the airport is exactly: i.e. Milan Bergamo is NOT Milan -- it's Bergamo! Figure out ahead of time how to get to/from the airports Wizz uses.

That's more of an issue with your security settings than the site. Wizz Air is a fairly well known budget airline, you should be fine. If you're worried, use a credit card and monitor it for any fraudulent use...it's unlikely. Or try buying your tickets through a consolidator site...

FWIW, my browser refused to trust the UK Border Agency website at first when I filled my visa application. Sometimes you have to override your settings.

I had the same problem with my Firefox Browser and Vueling Airlines.
