As I tracked fares in April & May I noticed that they weren't going as summer approached. Here we are on the brink of summer (well...maybe not in Western Washington weather terms...) and that's still the case. On the off chance you want to leave next week and fly direct, non-stop between Vancouver, Canada & Zurich, Switzerland, you can do it for under $1200. Crazy! I seriously wish I knew someone who could take advantage of this!
