Need to Reserve Tickets even though I have Rail Pass?

Plan is to take an overnight train from Frankfurt to Copenhagen, and later take an overnight train from Copenhagen to Oslo. Should I reserve tickets for these trips even though I have a rail pass that will cover these countries?

I'm planning to travel at the end of February 2008... not sure if that matters in terms of how busy the trains will be.

Reservations are REQUIRED on night trains. The price will vary depending upon the type of sleeping accommodations you choose. You can make those reservations now through RailEurope (fairly expensive) or you can take your chances and wait until you get to Europe (cheaper).

Yes. In the Scandinavian countries, for long- distance train rides, at any time of the day, reserving a seat in the train is highly recommended. A reserved seat is required in high-speed express trains.
