Need Paris Parking Advice

Will be driving to Paris for a Thur/Fri night stay and would like to stay in Paris and leave car outside in suburb for duration. Will be coming from Luxembourg and leaving towards Brussels - train travel not an option. Any suggestions for a safe carpark in suburbs near Paris local train line? Thanks in advance for advice.

The only thing I can think of is to ask the hotel where you will be staying. Good luck.

I've never been to any of the Paris airports, but it seems to me that airports generally have pretty good parking that's easily accessable from major highway systems, and have good connections with local mass transit systems. Usually cheap, outlying, as well as close-in covered lots. Relatively safe.

Hi Ron, You can park at CDG airport and take the RER into Paris. Specifically, if you park at Terminal 3 South parking lot (Google Earth coordinates 49deg, 00' 44.00" N, 2deg, 33' 39.00 E), you can then walk due south about 250 meters (through the underpass) and be at the RER station. The RER station's coordinates on Google Earth are 49deg,00' 35.00" N, 2deg, 33' 39.00 E. It's an easy walk. The RER station adjoins the Ibis Hotel so look for Ibis as a landmark. Of course any where you park at CDG you can take the parking shuttle to the nearest terminal and then the free airport shuttle to the RER. But by parking in T3 South, you can eliminate getting on and off of shuttles and walk directly to the RER. Good luck on your travels. Charlie Robinson, Lodi, CA.

If you are driving a rental car, most rental car agencies will let you park it free for a few days at many of their locations. Contact them for information and suggested routes with easy access and transportation.
