I am trying to purchase a one-way ticket from Bruxelles to Paris. I get a message that says I need to add a "Thalys TheCard" in order to buy this ticket.
Can someone please tell me what that is? I have not run in to this before when purchasing a ticket to France from another country.

Why not buy directly from the Thalys site, https://www.thalys.com/be/en/, or the SNCF site? We had Bayeux to Brussels the other day from SNCF, and the price was actually LOWER than on Thalys. no problem buying
Its just a frequent traveler card. Are you sure it is required or if it is a special price offered only ffs.
You can register for the card on the Thalys site and they will email you your card number.
So you can get a paperless ticket. For your route it is impossible to print a paper ticket since the ticket must be printed in a French train station and you are not starting your journey in France.
