Naples to Positano

We took bus from airport to train station, sorry can't remember the bus number or how long it took. Do remember the local train to Sorrento is downstairs at the train station, you buy ticket on main floor and head downstairs. Takes about an hour as is a local train and I seem to remember it cost about 5 euro one way. Hope this helps.

There are also some direct Curreri buses from Naples Airport to Sorrento, where you can switch to a SITA bus to Positano. Curreri buses stop at Piazza Tasso and SITA buses depart from in front of the train station, but it's a mostly flat walk between the two. You can check schedules at www.curreriviaggi.it.

If you take bus to positano from sorrento, be sure to get off at second positano stop. we did not do this first time and had to take a local bus from the first stop into town. the second stop is much easier.
