Well, I went and did something I've never done before. I had a travel agent book the flights for us (I've always done it myself!). So, I'm not going to beat myself up for this but now I have a question. This travel agent is very experienced (26 years in the business). She tells me the names on the electronic tickets do not have to include the middle names as on the passports. The full names go into the TSA field for the airport to see. Sound OK? I hope so since she booked it today! Thanks.

Yep you're fine. Your full name will be on the Secure Traveler Website database with the TSA. My electronic tickets usually string my first and middle names together, i.e. suzziecute trouble vs suzzie cute trouble as shown on my (herein fictional) passport. No problems to date although any agency that considers the icing on a child's cupcake to be a "gel" is something to be wary of.

Thank you!! Total relief to hear this. With all the years of trip planning I've done, this one is causing me stress - guess because we're taking our granddaughters for the first time. I don't want any glitches!
