Hmmm, well, it wouldn't really work for the way I like to travel but it kind of sounds like fun! It's really a weekend getaway concept with just the 3 days.

To me, the shorter the trip, the more important planning is so time isn't wasted.

This would be so fun. And liberate those of us who plan everything.

If I lived in the departure city.....maybe. My only hesitation would be accomodations. My days of just showing up and taking what's available are over.

In my younger days, my friends would say they could drop me off just about anywhere in the world and I'd find my way home. All I need is a credit card and a passport. (Before phones.) Now, I could do it much easier with a smartphone.

For a three day trip from Copenhagen? Sure I would.

Ya, I'm not sure if offering this from a North America destination works be as exciting. SAS says the flight will be a "few hours" which is really vague. A few hours from my home airport may mean Vegas which isn't anywhere near my top 100 destinations; even for a surprise weekend.

I would certainly do it. In these days of internet everywhere as soon as I am told where I am going I could be on the internet researching.
And pretty much anywhere inside a few hours from CPH I will have some sort of background knowledge in the back of my mind to start me off.
For someone like me who is too OCD on planning (even if on pen and paper, not high tech methods) that would be liberating, it would take me back decades to my inter-railing days when I just turned up blind to places. More or less used to put a pin in the map to decide where to go to next.
Only last week I had 18 pages of plans for 2 days of travelling in the UK. Day 1 collapsed like a pack of cards due to external factors and I winged it, replanning on the hoof. Day 2 I left the hotel with an amended plan. Ten minutes later I just ditched the whole plan and created a new one from fresh air.
Personally I am sure I would find decent accommodation wherever they sent me.

It isn't in fact clear whether the offer includes a hotel. But I am super flexible.

The offer does not include a hotel, but it's possible to book a hotel room in advance through SAS.

Looks like an opportunity for game of 'where is waldo?' to see who comes up with the correct destination , or does someone want to post a selection of choices and then folks vote on which destination seems most likely.

Any indication what model plane is being used for the junket?

The destination is "a few hours from Copenhagen", so most likely an A320.
