My Irish cousin car rental

Does anyone have experience renting a car from My Irish Cousin. It seems legit, and they are so friendly, but it’s difficult to get definite information about actual monetary accidental coverage. When we asked about it, they said “oh yeah, your quote covers everything “. But as far as how much it covers is quite vague.
I’ve also been researching through AAA, sixt, and a couple other agencies in Ireland, and just trying to narrow down which is the most secure coverage.
Open to comments or advice. Thanks.

Your post interests me because I am also planning a trip to Ireland in May and have been second guessing rental car choice. I hadn't heard of this outfit so did some checking online and requested a quote for a small car for 10 days with pickup at Dublin and drop off at Shannon Airport. They quoted me $1480m which is higher than my current choice from Alamo, but with MIC, the price includes total coverage, with no deductible and no late, hidden charges. Reviews from Trip Advisor and Google and glowing when it comes to service. Alamo places a 2500 EUR block on my CC and with their Excess Protection, there's still a $450 excess charge. With MIC, there's apparently no hold on my CC nor any other charges. On their website, they list all the things they don't cover, like accident damage when the accident is not reported to the police or MIC. They also don't cover a burnt out clutch if you are unfamiliar with driving a manual transmission car. I'm also getting an automatic.
I add previously booked a car thru Expedia and was pretty happy with the cost and coverage, only to find out recently that Alamo may not accept the coverage I bought from Expedia. When I contacted Alamo, they said they weren't able to comment on the insurance purchased from 3rd party. Not a good sign. I emailed the insurance carrier and they said they shouldn't be a problem, but I sure dont' want to find out otherwise at the rental car counter.
So when I factor in the back end costs from Alamo and the concern over the insurance, as a first timer, I like the no hassle service that My Irish Cousin seems to offer. I understand that having an automatic and a different drop off point adds to the cost, but this fits my itinerary better and am willing to pay for convenience. I'm leaning towards going with MIC since they seem to take the worry out of the whole process, and the online reviews seem to address any concerns, especially compared with review from other agencies. Sure problems can arise with any company, but it how they handle problems that makes the difference, and MIC at least takes the time to respond to most reviews, positive or negative. If I end up going with them, I'll post a report after my trip. Thanks for your post! Good luck on your trip!

My husband and I will be traveling to Ireland in Sept from Seattle as well. I joined an Ireland Facebook group and they highly recommended My Irish Cousin Car Rental. We have been told that if traveling to Northern Ireland or outside of Ireland you will have to disclose where you are going. We have to disclose that we are taking the vehicle to Wales, UK. I have to get an updated quote for a car and we will also be going in and meeting with AAA as we do have to tell them what we are doing as we don't want to get any added fines.
