Museum Tickets

Hello,

I need to purchase museum tickets in advanced to la Accademia and Uffizi Gallery (Florence), the Colosseum/Forum Pass, Vatican and Sistine Chapel and the Doge's Palace in Venice for our upcoming trip (last week in May).

The problem is that I don't want to pay reservation fees for each museum. I don't mind paying a minimal fee but don't want to pay for each entrance. Do you know where I could buy all the tickets and just pay one reservation fee?

Or is it better to call and make reservations??

How good/bad is it to call??

Are they reliable???

Any feedback/tips/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I hope you realize that Italy is not Disneyland. The museums you mention are heritage sites operated by several different jurisdictions.

Their entrance fees represent a fraction of the costs of preserving and presenting some of the world's great art treasures.

Sorry they can't be more conveniently presented for you.

Margie, you might want to delete this, since you have it posted in the transportation section. Perhaps re-phrase it and re-post in the Italy "to the boot" section.

Question: why would you ask if they are reliable?
