Murren from Geneva or Zurich?

I am planning several days in Murren (and the BO) in September, and have the option of flying into either Geneva or Zurich. I know there is not a direct train route to Murren from either of those airports, but does anyone recommend one over the other for getting to Murren -- and how many hours should I expect (bus? train?) Thanks.

There are trains directly from either airport, with a few connections on the way. From Geneva airport, you have a jounrey of 3 hours 45 minutes, with 3 or 4 changes on the way. From zurich, the journey is 3 hours 8 minutes, still with 3 or 4 changes on the way. (And those changes do not take into account the change to the cablecar to ride up to Mürren from lauterbrunnen). The cost is the same either way, 86 CHF if you don't have a pass. Zurich has a slight edge in terms of time. Both routes have you go through Bern so only the beginning of the journey differs in scenery. The changes are easy. I've only been to the Geneva airport once, flying out, and it dod not seem as nice and user-friendly as the Zurich airport, which we really like. They have a cool bit of entertainment on the train shuttle that takes you to themain terminal. (I'll leave that for a surprise and not describe it). So I would suggest Zurich, assuming things about the fllights are otherwise equal.
