along the lines of a previous thread, can anyone confirm the following... With a Bayern ticket and a Eurail pass that includes Switzerland, but not Germany;I would need to purchase a P2P ticket from Lindau-St Margrethen to cover off the Austrian portion of the route. Assuming I am correct, would I purchase both the Bayern Ticket and the P2P ticket at a machine in Munich Hbf? The St Marg-Lucerne trip would be the first use of the railpass. Would I need to validate the pass at a window at Munich Hbf first? Thanks in advance!
