We are hoping to travel to Italy again next year. In looking at the ITA Airways website (just for info), I don't see a “multi city” option when searching for flights. Am I missing something? Grazie.
Odd. I don’t see the option, nor an option for “advanced search”.
Maybe look for the multi-city google flights, and filter for ITA?
Not all airlines charge a premium for 1-way flights. Could that be the case here?
I don't see it either.
I haven't tried, but since they're part of SkyTeam, maybe you could book the flights through the Delta website (just make sure, if you want to fly ITA, that you're actually flying on them and not on Delta).
Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I'll do further research.

Seems not.
Did a test booking, JFK-FCO R/T is 488 each way ( 976 r/t total)
One way JFK-FCO is 642 for the same date.
So one does pay extra for one way ticketing
I too was unable to find an open-jaw/multi city option
Could you be thinking of ITA Software, which provides information about and for airlines? The general public can use it at this link: https://matrix.itasoftware.com/search
Google bought the service before setting up Google Flights. No information search covers every airline but the Matrix is certainly well stocked with flights and fares. And yes, it is only for info, not for selling tickets.
Southam, thanks for your reply. I am familiar with ITA Software and do use it. However, I am referring to ITA, the airline that replaced Alitalia. They don't seem to offer a multicity option when searching for flights.
Yup I'm having the same issue. Guess I'll just do it on Delta.
In the search field type multitratta
p.iacoviello,
Grazie. That worked perfectly.
