I don't seem to be able to set up a travel alert for prices or even routes with a multi city function on kayak. Can it be done? I have it set up for RT only, but I really want an open jaw alert.

I don't think it's possible to set up an alert for multi-city. I usually just set alerts for both cities and try to guess the best times/dates. It takes a lot of time - perhaps someone else knows a more efficient way!

I do what Sharon does - RT alerts for the various cities you are considering.
